Meme Box is a humorous app that lets you play meme sounds. We collect the following data:
- Advertising Identifier (IDFA): Used by Google AdMob to deliver personalized ads, with your consent via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
- Technical Data: Device type, iOS version, and anonymized error logs to ensure proper functioning.
We do not collect any personally identifiable information (name, email, etc.), and no registration is required.
The data is used to:
- Provide the app and play sounds locally on your device.
- Serve ads via Google AdMob to fund the free app.
- Improve the app using anonymized data (e.g., most-played sounds).
Data is shared only with:
- Google AdMob: For advertising purposes, per their policies (see here).
- Apple: For app downloads via the App Store.
No other third parties have access to your data, except under legal obligation.
- Advertising Identifiers: Retained as long as you use the app, resettable via iOS settings.
- Technical Data: Kept for a maximum of 12 months, then anonymized or deleted.
Sounds are stored locally and not collected by our servers.
We use technical measures (e.g., SSL encryption for communications) to protect the app and its audio files, securely stored on your device.
