At TwistApps, operated by SENTEIN Clément EI, we are committed to providing a clear and fair user experience. Our current applications, Meme Box and PromptCam, are free to download on the iOS App Store and funded by advertisements via Google AdMob. This refund policy applies to any in-app purchases or premium services that may be offered in our applications, now or in the future.
This policy applies to:
- In-app purchases in Meme Box (e.g., access to additional sounds or ad removal, if introduced).
- In-app purchases in PromptCam (e.g., advanced video editing features or ad removal, if introduced).
- Any other paid services or digital content added later to TwistApps applications available on the App Store.
Currently, no in-app purchases are required, but this policy anticipates such scenarios.
Pursuant to Article L121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code and App Store policies, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content (such as in-app purchases) provided immediately after purchase, unless you have not expressly waived this right prior to the transaction. By making an in-app purchase in a TwistApps application, you agree to waive this right upon confirmation via the App Store.
Since TwistApps applications are free to download, no refunds are applicable for their basic installation. For future in-app purchases or paid services, refunds are primarily managed by Apple via the App Store. However, TwistApps may intervene in specific cases outlined below, in collaboration with Apple.
We accept refund requests in the following situations:
- Service Not Provided: If an in-app purchase (e.g., ad removal) is not activated within 24 hours of the transaction, despite a technical resolution attempt within 48 business hours.
- Technical Issue Attributable to TwistApps: If a paid feature becomes unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to an issue with our server or application (excluding malfunctions related to Apple or Google AdMob).
- Billing Error: If you are charged twice for the same in-app purchase due to a technical error on our part or the App Store.
All requests must be submitted within 14 days of the purchase to be considered.
No refunds will be granted in the following cases:
- Change of Mind: If you regret an in-app purchase after using it (e.g., after accessing a paid feature).
- Partial or Full Use: If the paid content or service has been consumed, even partially.
- Third-Party Issues: If unavailability results from Google AdMob, the App Store, or your device (e.g., connection failure, incompatible iOS update).
- Unmet Expectations: If paid features do not meet your subjective expectations but function as described in the application.
Refunds are primarily managed by Apple via the App Store. Here’s how to proceed:
1. Request via the App Store:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Sign in with your Apple ID.
- Select the relevant purchase and submit a request explaining the reason.
Apple typically processes these requests within 48 hours.
2. Direct Request to TwistApps (Specific Cases):
- If the issue persists after contacting Apple, email senteinclement@gmail.com with:
- Your Apple ID (or associated email).
- The transaction reference (available in your App Store purchase history).
- A detailed description of the issue.
- We will respond within 48 business hours and work with Apple for a potential refund, processed within 5-7 business days if approved.
SENTEIN Clément EI is not responsible for interruptions or malfunctions caused by third parties (Apple, Google AdMob, user’s internet connection). Before requesting a refund, we recommend:
- Checking your iOS device compatibility and internet connection.
- Contacting our support at senteinclement@gmail.com for prior technical assistance.
Refunds are limited to the amount of the in-app purchase and do not include additional compensation.
In case of disagreement over a refund request, we prioritize an amicable resolution via senteinclement@gmail.com. Failing that, the competent courts in Dax (France), where SENTEIN Clément EI is based, will have jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law.
We may amend this policy to reflect changes in our applications, applicable laws, or App Store practices. Updates will be posted here, and users who have made purchases will be notified via in-app notifications or on twistapps.com.
